Working At Working

September 7, 2008 No Comments

I read this article in the Guardian today which provided a little insight on jealousy and the workings of a man’s mind, I am a man but it doesnt mean I know my mind or any others for that matter. In fact I’d rather not know yours, you dirty little bugger. It’s a good read, it’s in the lefty nanny rag but still enjoyable http://www.guardian.co.uk/lifeandstyle/2008/sep/07/relationships.women : Novelist Howard Jacobson on why the green-eyed monster is at the dark heart of male sexual passion.

Try telling a woman that jealousy is what makes a man tick so passionately and they baulk and find it a hideous trait as do I most of the time however when a woman learns how to handle a man’s jealousy that’s when she’ll hold him dear, it’s useless asking a man to not defend his honour or domain or territory, a man can be jealous but not suspicious, jealous and not possessive, the Darby and Joan state, all very nice but when you know the girl will always be there no matter what, then she must be playing away or thinks you are.

Ive always worn my heart on my sleeve so if this is five years from now and you’re a googling girlfriend, now you know, heart on sleeve, passionate and full of surprises, a veritable volcanic eruption if you’re really lucky. I guess I do know a little about me. I do get jealous rages which I keep in my head so maybe that’s why I defend the reaction. Jealousy is a repressed emotion, it saves lashing out and fighting, the animal kingdom’s primary response when a male moves in on the woman he is with or even dares to glance.

However humans are supposed to be better than that, as a ten year old I broke another child’s nose for supposedly chatting my girlfriend up, I learned my lesson early on, I didn’t do anything wrong but I should have learned how to fight better and do some weights, his older brothers were after me for ages.

Back from holiday and off again? I’ve been back two weeks Monday, time has flown by, didn’t have much time to work when got back so didn’t engage until last week. As stated I did the sales, just waiting for the old mullah to filter through, by my reckoning that’s £350, £500 and £55 by Friday, I’ve had a few hundred in already and settled a few payments due, I’ve been asked to go back to Bulgaria, to the same place with another set of mates, leaving Wednesday. I’m really tempted as it’ll only, should only cost €18 a night and a bit to spend but I really shouldn’t, no money yet anyway but it’s doable for under a week.

Yes working on working, for the last couple of Christmas sales seasons and the lead up to each – which started two months ago, I kept promising to do something to seize the day and the most sales ever but I’ve never got round to it and just as Im in the mood to build websites for the first time since February I’m tempted to go on holiday, which I can’t as I have no money and have bills to pay but it’s tempting.

For months now I’ve wanted to develop my domains further, I was going to push a load on to Imodo and see how parking went there and engine indexing but I may now spend the next few days setting up blogs on some good domains. I’ve been playing around with Family Outings since I dropcaught.co.uk (LEEOWEN) the name Saturday, nice template, still looking for a directory and video plug in. I go through these stages, I did it on a load last time but it was FrontPage and my own template, they were mostly identical to JPJP.co.uk – lacked any substance, no automation or feeds and a severe lack of updates.

In fact the last brainstorm I had, they ended up being turned into Vortals.co.uk, I’ve been slowly selling those off though so that needs attacking, websites, websites, websites, I have to find the key motivation to build websites and get indexed my ideas for Christmas or anytime, money always come in handy and affiliate marketing used to be my bread and better, it all is these days, domain sales, parking rev, catching to order, business model always changing.

Websites, need to concentrate on websites, blogging and content. I don’t do much work, follow up sales via emails, make enquiries via email, talk a lot via msn otherwise I do very little and it’s been the same way for a few years, need to get my arse in gear. I still fancy Bulgaria on Wednesday – agian, see how it goes. The brain is telling me to work on websites until then though. I caught BrandControl.co.uk and ClimateZone.co.uk, any good?

*And I should apologise, I keep accidentally deleting real comments when I clear the eS Pee hAy eM replies.
