The Week Of Weeks

This is it, what I have probably been building up to for a month now, I raised £1000, raised £500, raised £800 and magic’d another few hundred towards the end of the week and now for the big one. £5000 or 100 sales this week whichever ever brings the greater amount of mullah.

I just lost £140 on Monetised.co.uk because I didn’t get replies to emails so off to a bad start already, as I sold it for less a few days ago and the previous interested party only just said he’s got the money. These things happen. Sorry. One has to put food on the table when one is bloody hungry, hasn’t one. A bit annoying as I only sold it Thursday night so I could eat.

As of this moment in time I have 900+ domains and it’s easy to do the maths. The best way is a few at £1000 each, it used to be the norm. There are a variety of combinations, I could sell one for £4600 as I did Worky.co.uk or 100 at £50 a go, a few bulk buyers or just throw them away. I have to be canny, I have six days to get the domains sold to get £5000 in.

Usually people want to know what you’re doing with the money, that’s fair enough, Christmas is coming up obviously, mortgage to pay, rent to pay, life to see to, holiday, food, drink and be merry, bills, bills, bills. I want to get back on top. Saturday 15th 4pm: I’ll update with my progress now to price ‘em up and ship ‘em out. I just caught MyBiography.co.uk not bad eh!

Saturday 15th 7.15pm: Tapped up a regular for £90 – its not for me. I’ve been paying back my overdraft at £100 month, arranged monthly on the 15th, it got reduced today so that’s an £8 over fee and £75 to get it balanced. One bill paid, £4910 to go. What a laugh… Monday 17th 10am and I’m slow to wake up, one company called but no one in, I was after £500, a pittance. 12.30, four sold and £175, client was interested in my 24 domain ‘base’ set, laters.co.uk and 17th.co.uk pair – they’re still thinking. £4735 remains to reap.

4pm: £325 comes in early and £55 went to a wrong account number so will be sent again, £380 because it’s arriving this week, not new business but it all helps. £4355 left to attain. I’ve been offered £175 on theseychelles.co.uk, it beats the £50 from earlier but still not selling yet, oh and the others aren’t thinking anymore so that batch is still available. £4355 – I’ll get there, need to break the £4000 barrier today (Monday).

Tuesday 2am: I’ve had an enquiry on over 50 domains again which is always a nightmare as you never know the angle of the interested party. I’ve priced them at £xxxx and will await their reply. I always try to be fair when pricing, a female friend says I’m no good at this job as I’m not ruthless enough well it’s a joke that’s wearing thin now but I caught ruth.co.uk and it’s now someone elses, so yes I am ruthless in a way but I know what means more on occasions, happiness versus holding out for bread and water.

It took me about two hours to price the domains, 12.27 to – a good job I blogged about this, msn ****ed up and it never got sent. Now sent. 4am here in Bucharest, if only I was tired I’d go to sleep. 1pm: It’s a quiet day, calm before the storm I hopes. Wednesday 1am: No new sales, I have been teaching my girlfriend how to do what I do this evening, yes do nothing and earn money. I’m not trying to sell other domains until the bulk is finalised either way. Hopefully it will be sealed by end of today.

Meanwhile affiliate sales are ticking by, £3.00 and £1.70 overnight. Whoopee. Wednesday Midnight: I’m losing all hope, it’s Thursday, bulk enquiry has been out there two days, the week is nearly over and I’ve almost failed. My bulk pricing was a good one I thought. Thursday 4pm: I give up, I’ll try another a week, waiting out for the bulk threw my rhythm. £4355 of £5000 remains.

Continued… Monday 24th: Took £250 for theseychelles.co.uk, let’s keep it going. I’m not one to give up on what I really want. I have another £300 to £400 on the table to seal today and that other £xxxx enquiry with still no feedback on negotiation. £4105 to go although the idea was to see all the cash at the same time and the result of my hard work but that isn’t going to really happen is it. 28th 5am: Forgot to add £200 for a set. £3905.
