Busy Tired And Fat

Morning, it’s early here – about 6am. I’m doing something unusual of late and that’s working and a lot, shock horror. I have new clients, I have new contacts and I have new ideas and that’s all keeping me very busy even though I seem to lay in the same bed working all day, or in the kitchen with the laptop whilst cooking. I don’t have a telly, so I can be excused.

I am at the point where I hardly know what day it is and I’m laying around the house eating while working, as that’s what I do and I’m getting fat, I should go down the gym, after all I pay for it and it is only across the road but nope, still here figuring things out. So what’s happened recently? Let’s see if I can work my way backwards, memorialwall.co.uk was sold for £xxx after a few days of emails, they contacted me and I shifted silentdisco.co.uk for £xxx a few days after catching it, two businesses, one bid higher than the other, I contacted them.

New clients, yes I’ve brought a few new clients on board and I’m trying to work with them to supply their needs as well as my own, it’s not easy as I have to get my own domains to sell and stay alive in this very competitive world but it’s ticking. I may have missed one or two out but that’s the bulk of the catches, new purchases and registrations, if you’re keen on one I did catch and it’s not listed then it’s probably a clients. For instance imagine me loading a request for transactions.co.uk – which I did, thinking I’ll never get it and waking up a few hours later and finding I have, gutted – there goes my quick flip of the month providing £xxxx. I’m just too bloody honest sometimes.

I have a target of £2000 for this week and with four days left it’s looking like it may still be possible but only time will tell, I’m pushing a few domains hard, recent catches, usa-visa.co.uk and water-proof.co.uk and chauffeurdrivencarhire.co.uk appears to be a popular phrase and term so when I shift them that’s a bit of money already in. What do I like? I think PrivateTransfers.co.uk (LEEOWEN) is blinding, its a widely indexed term as well.  I shifted SignedBy.co.uk early on, I did like that a lot also.

YouthDevelopment.co.uk has potential, teenagemums.co.uk appeared exciting at first, grew out of all proportions and may well cry a lot over the next few months, refs.org.uk won’t be popular, may get a lot of abuse for 90 minutes but overall the domain will serve it’s purpose and bring forth a result either way. Beautysite.co.uk is sitting pretty, usa-visa.co.uk is about to fly and beirut.org.uk is still in the middle of a rebuilding effort.

Oh yes, I said I’d been cooking. I have, I know a fantastic girl and she’s got me interested in food again. I’ve been buying some quality beef and waxing lyrical about my favourite meal, here’s what you need to do. Fry a beef steak or two in a small amount of oil and allow to simmer in it’s own juices – put  a lid on the pan to create water vapour, once cooked, drain 75% of juices and cut into small chunks, add a sauce, one sec – it’s called, andalouse here… just a spoon full and add some sultanas at the same time.

Fry the sauce a bit until it becomes thickened and almost burnt and stir meat. While this is going on, rustle up some veg, mushrooms, sweetcorn, runner beans and lightly shake with ground pepper. Return to the pan and melt some soft creamy cheese on the beef and serve. The end result is an effin scrumptious dinner, server with a glass of water or red wine. I haven’t finished yet.

You’ve still got leftover creamy cheese and sultanas, get the ready made pancakes out of the fridge or make your own, spread cheese at 3/4 mark, sprinkle sultanas and trickle honey, add walnuts if you really want to. Serve with a glass of milk or unlike me, ice cream. Retire to the lounge, watch telly or get back to work you lazy git. No wonder I’m getting fat, I hope my bank balance does this week too.
