Is it that time already? What time? I don’t know, am I satisfied? in what way? is that a personal question, what exactly are you getting at? Why are we all here? It’s been over three years since I left the UK, departed, moved on, exasperated by all around me, depressed into solitude by what I couldn’t change, tomorrow morning the nightmare for many millions who remained, should end or begin to. Will it?

You know I aint too sure. Farflung should be dropping tomorrow but it aint, so I’ll settle for being far away but I aint that far away or far flung, that little old British Economy affects me greatly. When I moved here I was a king but slowly the euro became the perfect partner to the not so great British Pound, ruined by a chancellor long before the recession began.

So I got less money for what I earned but I didn’t really care as I was earning thousands more than ever before but that soon went, that’s another story. Today I stand on the verge with the many few, who are like minded, on the verge of seeing our economy gain some hope, because like me, you know full well that should there be an hung parliament it will need time to proove itself and negotiations to be fulfilled.

However if we get same old horrible Labour who doesn’t like business, the markets are going to moan and groan but at least they will know what’s coming and as an economy, we’re lucky the proverbial shit is still hitting the fan in Europe, no matter our losses there, that exchange rate is my concern, my secondary concern is seeing business gain growth again through new start ups, advertising revenue increasing and people being hired.

That’s my business, everything else is meaningless, God Save the Queen and all that and the Romanian one if she was still around, Scottish born and bred she was, bet you didn’t know that. Most of us domainers survived the recession, that’s not to say it’s over. Many of us rode roughshot through most of the recessionary days quite to our surprise we were unaffected, if it wasn’t that we spent like nothing else was wrong, we’d still be kings, some are.

However right now, and I’m not the only one who knows but might be the one of only a few to comment, there’s a lull and we are eagerly anticipating the rise again, which I believe is here. As always the best will sell, but even the best can sell better. Before Christmas and a month or so preceeding that lovely cold duration, things slowed up.

January came and the usual springboard back to profits turned into February, first it was VAT that got in the way, then March merged into April and it was tax time, then April got brighter and we got to May, these have been the lean days, where people who like their money had to stash some but the days are back where we can turn a penny into a pound overnight, though you still have to be careful.

I’m not so good with the careful, I dive in, I’m back, I’m buying and i’m selling and I’m trying. I will serve, I will deliver, I will work 23 hours a day and take pills to keep my eyes open because I have to and like to and enjoy putting food on the table and luggage on the airport trolley. Am I off me trolley? I catch domain names from the previous registrant and I sell them to whoever wants them and if that person end obvious, I’ll dig them up, put them in a microwave and ask if they want a side salad, Sir ahem or Madam.

I catch domains and I can catch them for you. I sell domain names and I may have what you want or need or I can get a hold of it. So thank you for voting and I hope you made the right choice because we’ll all be stuck with them for the next five years, you can make another right choice, work with me and catch names and buy a few if you fancy them, I’m good at this business. Email me at domaini@hotmail.co.uk to discuss the domain catching business, domains and how we can work together.

Yours in… in… in… insanely

Lee

Hello, where did you all go? I seem to have lost all previous blog posts, sorry about that. Time flies doesn’t it? One minute I was on my way to Vienna and the site goes down, five months later and the blog reappears. The Bermuda Triangle alive on the net. Dallas, we had a problem, now we’re back.

What to say? I’ve been catching domains, I’ve been selling and as I tell me girlfriend, “I’ve been doing shome deeeaals.” Not enough mind as we seem to always spend what comes in. I’ve got more clients these days and they’re beautiful and thanks to them the recession doesn’t seem to be biting so hard, however three weeks of no domain drops did put the dampers on some very good business in the months proceeding.

As most of you know, even those that didn’t want to, do, I sold kitchenappliances.co.uk in two days after catch for £9500 back in April. Squillions, almost. I can tell you that most went out on bills but for the first time I can reveal, some of it went on an actual kitchen, from Ikea but still cost a bit, a good job I didn’t sell dildosandhandcuffs.co.uk for the same amount… though the handcuffs would have come in handy.

So here’s to the blog returning and hopefully I’ll have more to say very soon.
