The British government and Visit Newcastle Tourist Board woke up to an astonishing revelation this morning, Newcastle has become a part of Scotland, at least in the minds of those wonderful people at the support desk of Low Cost Holidays.
In an exchange of emails with intrepid traveller @jamieoneill67 and a customer service representative, Rajesh Bangera, insists that Newcastle and Newcastle Airport is now in Scotland. Quite how Newcastle got there we are unsure but if you have any plans to travel to the airport it might be worth ringing Newcastle Airport to check.
Newcastle Airport’s twitter @NCLairport soon replied to assure its customers that Newcastle Airport hasn’t moved and is indeed still in England.
